Sony Ericsson launches Entertainment Unlimited, Reinforcing its Position as the Communication Entertainment Brand

Entertainment Unlimited builds on Sony Ericsson’s leadership in music, imaging, gaming, content services, and applications to deliver unlimited opportunities for consumers to share experiences.

Sony Ericsson is unveiling the W995 Walkman™ phone at Mobile World Congress offering the most complete communication entertainment package to date. Sony Z5 Short Message Service
The SMSer application was designed to be a Sony Z5 short message sender. Its fairly intuitive to use, but suffice to say first select the correct COM port on the Config page. The rest of the values on that page needn't be changed.

Click the 'Connect' button and retrieve the phonebook. Alternatively you can just enter the destination mobile number directly in the edit box where it says 'Recipient'.

The reason for the maximum number of characters being set to 144, is because there is a firmware bug (which I've reported to Sony). They're looking into it...

It doesn't install anything else, modify any settings or files or mess about with the registry.
